Associate
I practice in the area of civil litigation, with a focus on construction law and builders liens, property and real estate disputes, and commercial tenancy matters. Outside of litigation, I also regularly advise clients on agricultural land reserve and municipal law issues.
I have spent much of my life in the Abbotsford community, originally attending and graduating from Mennonite Education Institute. In my early adult years, I studied theology at Canadian Mennonite University in Manitoba, before working in the field of construction. After developing a passion for commercial construction, I eventually decided to put that passion to use in the world of law. I received my Juris Doctor from Thompson Rivers University in 2021 and was called to the bar after articling at a respected local firm. I now practice with Vickers Law and have years of experience appearing in all levels of the courts of British Columbia.
My driving purpose in the world of law is to help people get out of the stress and burdens of litigation so they can get back to living life. The end goal is always peace, and my passion lies in standing with my clients until they’ve recovered that peace again.
Outside of the office, I live in the mountains as an obsessed peak bagger. I enjoy reading, long-standing friendships, and watching smarmy television on Amazon Prime. I additionally serve as a director of the Abbotsford District Bar Association.
